It is the necropolis in the southeast of Efek Höyük, in Efek Region, 3 km north of Derbent Village, in the west of Banaz District of Usak Province. It was investigated during the survey conducted by H. Oy and his team in 2015. The fragments belonging to pithos burials spread over a wide area. In addition to pithoi, sherds belonging to smaller pottery, which could be grave goods, were found as well. Also, large stones with smooth surface that could belong to kist graves were found. It is also considered that these stones were used to cover the mouth of pithoi [Oy 2017:54]. |
