It locates at a height of 2171 m, on the hill, 700 m west of Kocaköy Village, 7 km southeast of Merkez District in Ardahan Province. It was discovered during the survey carried out by S. Pataci and his team in 2015. It is considered to be a watchtower due to its wide field of view. It measures 7.60x7.60 m and is in square plan. It was built in the drystone wall technique. The entrance probably locates to the northwest. A few potsherds collected from its vicinity date to IA [Pataci et al. 2017:186-7]. |
