During the survey conducted by Kadriye Özçelik and her team next to the Aydinlar Dam, in Aydinlar Neighborhood, in Honaz District of Denizli Province in 2015, piles of raw materials consisting grey veined, dark yellow-brown colored local flint were found. A bifacial tool, chopping tools, Clactonian flakes, and knapping waste, and denticulated and retouched tools were also determined. There is also a recurrent centripetal Levallois core in small size [Özçelik et al. 2017:509]. |
