It locates at the 2nd km of Alucra exit of the Alucra-Siran motorway, in the northeast of the road, in the east of Alucra District, in Giresun Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by S. Kaymakçi and his team in 2015. Bagirsak Stream flows from the south of the settlement. It is an upland settlement. It measures 300x200 m. The potsherds dated to EVA, 2nd millennium BC and Hellenistic-Roman periods were found. There are broken roofing tiles, and stones belonging to architectural structures, 2nd millennium BC pithos (rim) sherds with jagged decoration, ground stones, and slags [Kaymakçi 2017:74]. |
