It is the red earth area near the Melen Water Pipeline, in the southwest of Karasu Quarter, in Karasu District of Sakarya Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by M. Kartal and his team in 2015. The finds were determined in two areas. In the first area, a chopping tool showing the characteristics of Lower Palaeolithic was found. The second area is just the east-southeast of the first one. This area yielded a hopping tool, a core and a convergent side scraper dated to Lower Palaeolithic. A similar core to this one is known from the Tayacian layers in the lower levels of Karain. The scraper is similar to the Taurus-Zagros Mousterian side scrapers found in Karain [Kartal-Erbil 2017:91].
