It is located 1 km south of Asagi İkizce Village, in the region of Tektek Mountains, 61 km southeast of Sanliurfa Province. It was discovered during the survey conducted by B. Çelik and his team in 2015. There are two round planned structures between the tumuli. Flint flakes, borers, scrapers, and blades and 2 obsidian blade pieces dated to Pre-Pottery Neolithic were found on the surface [Çelik 2017:340]. The tumuli had been subjected to illicit digging. |
