It is located in Kemer Quarter, Turgutreis Town of Bodrum District in Mugla Province and it contains 2 building remains, an agricultural terrace and a workshop area. The building in the south was built with rubble stones in the drystone wall technique. The remains consist of 2 round planned spaces and a narrow passage connected to them. The building in the west summit was also built with rubble stones in the drystone wall technique. The building comprises 3 main rooms. To the south is an ancient road reaching the building. There are sherds of black-varnished Attica ware, dated to the 4th century BC, around the building and the road. It is believed that the building was built for defense. The workshop, located near Kussivri Hill, consists of crushing pits with a diameter of about 50 cm. It is registered in the Cultural Inventory of Mugla Province [Mugla KE III.1 2013:459-62]. |
