Evri Höyük is located at the Evri Quarter of Pazarcik district, Kahramanmaras Province. The mound is located at a 560 m altitude and covers an area of approximately 7487 square meters [Dumankaya-Yildirim 2018: 397]. Evri Höyük is dated to Late Chalcolithic Period, the Early Bronze Age, the Middle Bronze Age, the Early Trans-caucasian and Hittite Periods [Dumankaya-Yildirim 2018: 398]. Pottery finds are abundant in Evri Höyük. First group found at the mound is the dark faced Trans-caucasian/ Karaz ware with light brown interior. Similar pottery had been found within the region at Akbayir I-II, Akpinar, Çogulhan, Tudegin, Karacaören, Çebikçil and Kale-Kale Höyük. The second group is the light brown plain simple ware with flaring rims. They are dated to the Early Bronze Age and the beginnings of the Middle Bronze Age. Third assemblage is the cream coated pottery with exterior-thickened rims. They are dated to the Early Bronze Age and significantly similar to the band-painted pottery so-called "Elazig- Malatya Painted" ware. The last group consists of the gray faced Hittite pottery [Dumankaya-Yildirim 2018: 397].
