Gökpinar (Demirciler) Höyük is located at the Demirciler Quarter of Pazarcik district, Kahramanmaras Province. The mound is located at a 530 m altitude and covers an area of approximately 7580 square meters. Gökpinar (Demirciler) is dated to the Early Bronze Age, Middle Bronze Age and the Hittite Period [Dumankaya-Yildirim et. al. 2018: 506]. Pottery finds are abundant in Gökpinar (Demirciler) Höyük. The first group identified at the mound is the "Brittle Orange Ware" dated to the Early Bronze and the beginnings of the Middle Bronze Age. They are brittle red-orange and have inverted rims. Similar pottery had been found within the region at Tilmen, Gedikli-Karahöyük, Türkoglulu-Istasyon, Türkoglu-Özbek, Türkoglu-Karahöyük and Pazarcik-Tasbiçme Höyük. The second group is the plain simple ware that dates to the Early Bronze Age and the beginnings of the Middle Bronze Age. They are cream-coated and have exterior-thickened rims. Apart from these assemblages,, the so-called "Elazig-Malatya Painted Ware" that date to the Early Bronze Age are documented at Gökpinar (Degirmenciler) Höyük. They are painted with band motifs. Although not as definitive as the previous three groups, there are also a few gray faced Hittite pottery found at the mound [Dumankaya-Yildirim et. al. 2018: 506].
