| It lies east-northeast of Çalbasi (Minos) Village; north of Kavak District of Samsun Province. Northeast of the mound passes the Samsun-Kavak motorway and east of it passes the former Ankara motorway. The river of Mert flows nearby the northern skirt of the hill. The site was discovered by U.B. Alkim and dated to EBA. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
