The site lies northwest of Sanliurfa and Bozova district; 4 km northeast of Dutluca. It was inundated by the Atatürk Dam. The site was discovered by M. Özdogan during his Lower Euphrates Survey in 1977. Potsherds of chaff-faced and various coarse wares were collected from the surface during the survey. Other potsherds belonging to the Post-Classical Periods were also found. The location code is U 50 / 13.
