The mound; located south of Yozgat; was discovered during the surveys conducted in the provinces of Kirsehir; Yozgat; Nevsehir; and Aksaray by Omura in 1989. It lies south of Çöplüçiftligi Village. The collected sherds resemble the Late Chalcolithic Age sherds of Alisar Höyügü. Omura has published the photographs and drawings of the sherds; since he claims that this very material is different than the contemporary finds recovered from other settlements [Omura 1991:fig.3/7-15].
