It is located on the eastern bank of the Delice Stream; northwest of Sungurlu; west-southwest of Çorum Province. It lies 1.7 km southwest of abandoned Resuloglu Village. It measures 75x90 m in dimensions. It overlooks the Delice Stream. It was discovered in 1998 during a survey conducted by T. Sipahi and T. Yildirim. The traces of the pits opened by treasure hunters are visible on the surface. Among pottery collected from the surface; there are sherds dating from the EBA; the MBA-LBA and the Iron Age. They are comparable with the handmade; black; red or brown washed EBA pottery found at Alacahöyük. |
