It lies in Kayasu (May) Village; south of Akören-Seydisehir motorway; approximately 7 km west of Akören District; south of Konya Province. It was discovered in 1997 by H. Bahar. Sherds dating from the EBA; Iron Age and the Hellenistic Period were recovered. It is one of the biggest mound in the region. It measures ca. 40 m in height and 400 m in diameter. No further information is provided about the EBA pottery. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
