It lies 1.6 km north of the village of Medet; about 7 km southwest of Tavas; 13 km south-southwest of the province of Denizli. It is a pretty large mound on the eastern end of Tavas Plain. The mound is northeast of the motorway and to the north of it is the Denizli Bait Factory. It can be seen on the 1:200;000 map. From the surface; probable Late Chalcolithic Age finds are collected by J. Mellaart during his survey in the Southwestern Anatolia Region. |
