It is about 1 km north-northwest of Nuhköy; about 23 km southwest of Afyonkarahisar Province as the crow flies. To the east flows a stream and his area is locally known as Karatas'in Baglar. It was discovered by J. Mellaart and recorded as Nuhköy / Karatas. Pottery of the EBA II was collected from the surface. It is cited as a second millennium settlement in the guide of the Afyon Archaeological Museum. A further investigation is necessary. |
