The site lies southwest of Mersin; northwest of Silifke; on a high rocky land. The excavation project launched by A. Boran in 2011 has still been going on. Middle Chalcolithic Age sherds are found scattered and collected by Mellaart and French. The handmade pottery sherds resembling Ubaid painted ware are pale red or buff colored on the surface and decorated in thin matte red or brown paint. Bowls are the dominant forms. The finds are considered in the 7th phase of ASPRO.
