It lies next to Seyhsafi Village; northwest of Havza District; southwest of Samsun Province. Finds dating from the Chalcolithic (?) Age; the EBA and the second millennium BC were collected from the surface by K. Kökten; N. and T. Özgüç. It stands on a natural hill. It is called Höyüktepe. It is cited as Seyhsafi in the Yakar's map. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
