It lies south of Tinaz Tepe; near the stream connecting the Lakes Eber and Aksehir; about 6-8 (?) km north of Sultandagi (former Ishakli) District; east-southeast of Afyonkarahisar. It was discovered in 1961 by D.H. French. It was introduced on the northwestern end of the Lake Aksehir. Tasköprü Village is situated right on the bank of the lake. It is indicated to lay down far northwest among the third millennium BC settlements in the guide of the Afyon Archaeological Museum. No further information is provided. J. Mellaart and his team do not refer to this mound although they investigated the west of the Lake Aksehir. Further investigation is necessary.
