| The mound lies 4 km east of Batman. It is discovered during the joint survey project of the University of Istanbul and Chicago Oriental Institute. The base and the skirts of the mound with a height of 5 m and a diameter of 30 m are occupied by the modern village. The earliest settlement on the mound is discovered to be of Halaf-Ubaid Transition Period. The location code is S 61 / 2. |
