It lies 350 m southwest of Bakir Village; 9 km northeast of Kurtalan District; west of Siirt Province. It is a medium sized mound. It measures 20 m in height and 100x175 m in dimensions. A surface collection carried out under P.Benedict in 1963 yielded sherds datable to the EBA. A swamp lies under the mound located on the eastern side of the Basur Cayi Vadisi. It is coded under 64 / 4. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
