It is located 2 km northwest of the village of Çigdem; in the district of Hacibektas; province of Nevsehir. The mound lies in a hollow area with water springs at a distance of 200-250 m from the eastern and northeastern parts. It is a rounded and conical mound measuring 75 m in diameter and 8 m in height. The collected material was dated to EBA and MBA. It was visited during the survey conducted by A. Türker in 2013. Türker stated that the mound is 199 m in diameter and 7 m in height. EBA, MBA and IA sherds were collected from the surface of the mound [Türker 2015:234]. |
