An idol was recovered from somewhere reported to be on the Banaz Plain; around Banaz Village; 33 km east-northeast of Usak Province. This idol of a goddess has wide almond-eyes with marked pupils. Only head and neck of the idol were found. The light brown wash was burnished after applied. It is preserved in a private collection. The plain was surveyed neither by J. Mellaart nor by D.H. French. It is necessary to conduct a survey in this region. It was visited during the survey conducted by H. Oy and his team in 2015. According to the measurements taken during this survey, the settlement is 200 m in diameter and 10 m in height. Among the EBA finds, there are red, brown and grey slipped wares, U-shaped lugs, knoblike handles, vertical handles, and tripods. Flint tools were found as well. In addition to EBA pottery, potsherds dating to MBA, Classical, Hellenistic and Early Roman periods were collected as well [Oy 2017:57].
