The mound lies north of Balikesir; on a natural elevation; at the exit from Edincik Village to Erdek. It is locally known as Bardaklitepe. It was discovered by M. Özdogan in 1989. Many finds were collected dating from the Middle Chalcolithic Age to the beginnings of EBA; MBA-LBA. The mound is seriously damaged by the construction of a road and terrace. Code G 8/1. |
