The mound; inundated by a dam; used to lie northwest of Batman; west of Kozluk; southwest of Remdenka Stream. The site was discovered during the Surveys of Batman conducted by M. Rosenberg and H. Togul. The distribution of the pottery indicates the Chalcolithic Age except the Halaf Period; Iron Age and Medieval Age settlements. A section; formed by the stream; exposes stone walls. |
