It lies on the summit and the foots of the natural hill that rises immediately southeast of the primary school in the village of Karga; district of Havza; province of Samsun. The hill measures 60x80 m and is about 120 m high from the plain level. The settlement was visited in 2001 during the survey of Samsun and Amasya provinces conducted under the direction of M. Özsait. It is reported that the settlement was destructed and yielded ceramics dating to the EBA; 2nd millennium BC; Early and Middle Iron ages. |
