It lies immediately at the side of the old Ankara-Kayseri road. 300 m northeast of the settlement of Kaman Kalehöyik in the province of Kaman; province of Kirsehir. It was discovered in 2001 during the surveys conducted in Central Anatolia under the directorship of S. Omura. The mound is pretty flat and destructed. Numerous Chalcolithic ceramics were collected. Engraved and embroidered ceramics; which are thought to be peculiar to Kizilirmak curve; are significant finds. |
