It lies about 600 m south of the village of Saraycik in the district of Sungurlu; province of Çorum. The road of Arifegazili surrounds the hill from south to north. The settlement measures 150x100 m and it is about 5 m high. It was discovered in 2001 during the Survey of Çorum and Çankiri Regions conducted by T. Sipahi. In the earth removed from the illicit digging pits on the summit were found numerous EBA ceramic sherds. Roman and Byzantine sherds were encountered on the flat area to the east. |
