It is located 10 km northwest of the district of Kaman in the province of Kirsehir. The mound; measuring 45 m in diameter and 5 m in height; lies on a slope. It was discovered in 1986 during the Survey of Kirsehir Province conducted by S. Omura. The surface finds include painted sherds belonging to EBA and Iron Age. It is reported that the majority of the EBA materials consist of monochrome; chaff tempered; and nail impressed sherds. |
