It is located 1.5 km north of the village of Çepni; 4 km northwest of the district of Çiçekdagi in the province of Kirsehir. It measures about 17 m in height and 185 m in diameter. It was discovered in 1987 during the Survey of Kirsehir Province conducted by S. Omura. An illicit pit was observed on the northern slope of the mound. Numerous sherds dating to the EBA and the first millennium BC were collected from the surface. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
