It lies in the channel of Kizilirmak River; 2.5 km northwest of the village of Kiyihalilinceli; 20 km northeast of the district of Sulakyurt in the province of Kirikkale. The remains of walls can be observed in the sections on the western part. The mound measures 155 m in the east-west direction and it is 8.5 m high from the plain level. It was discovered in 1991 during the survey of Central Anatolia conducted by S. Omura. It is reported that the collected sherds belong to the Early Bronze and Old Hittite ages.
