The mound is located in Polatbey (Cercik) village of Polateli district of Kilis province. Contemporary settlement had been set on the mound. It is surrounded by a dirt road. The site has been discovered by a team conducted by E. Özgen in 2000. It is understood by the collected sherds that the mound is being occupied in till EBA. There are basalt architectural remains on top hill. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
