Belentepe Höyügü is located in the Belentepe Village (former Çiraz Village), Musabeyli district of Kilis province. [http://www.kiliskulturturizm.gov.tr/TR-61724/hoyukler.html, 4.12.18, 13:03]. The mound is 25 meters high. It is 9-10 kilometers away from the Ravanda Castle in air distance. The site has been discovered by by the team conducted by E. Özgen in 2000 and recognized that it has been occupied from EBA to Late Roman Period. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
