The mound is located near the east end of Sakçagözü Plain in Nurdagi district of Sanliurfa village. North;northwest of the mound Yelbaba hill takes place and further on Songrus / Sonruz Höyük can be seen. There is a survey point on top of the mound and it is surrounded by fields. It was observed and documented during TAYEx 2001 Southeastern Anatolia region [TAYEx 26.8.2001]. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
