It lies 350 m west of Doruklu Village; 12 km west of Silopi District of Sirnak Province. It is 16 m high and 160 m in east-west direction; 100 m in northwest direction. There is water spring southeast of the mound and its surroundings are planted. Basalt stones observed around the mound and potsherds and grindstones collected from the surface during the survey conducted by G. Kozbe. The find are dated to Ubaid and Early Assyrian Period. |
