The conglomerate pebbles belonging to the old benches of the Tigris are scattered over the slopes as a result of erosion. The area is overlooking both the Tigris and the valley of Savur stream. It was discovered in 2002 during the survey conducted by H. Taskiran and M. Kartal. A total of 10 cores collected include typical or atypical pointed and flaked Levallois cores and bipolar recurrent cores. Some of the flakes also have Levallois characteristics. The tools made from flakes include a carinated end scraper (plane); a side scraper and a notched tool. The find spot belongs to the Middle Palaeolithic.
