It is located 16.5 km southeast of Harran; south-southeast of Sanliurfa. It measures 230 m in diameter and rises about 13 m above the plain level. It is also known as Hora. It was visited by N. Yardimci during the survey of Harran Plain. The EBA assemblage consists of lightly burnished plain wares. Chalcolithic; 2nd and 1st millennium BC; Roman and Medieval-Islamic potsherds were also encountered. |
