It is located 7.5 km southeast of Harran; south-southeast of Sanliurfa. It is a small circular mound measuring 160 m in diameter and 7 m in height. It is also known as Sitçe. It was visited by N. Yardimci during the survey of Harran Plain. The Chalcolithic finds consist of straw-tempered plain wares. The surface material also includes sherds belonging to the EBA and Medieval-Islamic Period. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It is also known as Sitçe. |
