It is located 4.5 km northeast of Harran; south-southeast of Sanliurfa. It measures 200 m in diameter and rises about 10 m above the plain level. It is also known as Tilkicik. It was investigated by N. Yardimci during the survey of Harran Plain. The plain wares with straw temper represent the Chalcolithic Age. The other finds belong to the EBA; 2nd and 1st millennium BC; Roman and Medieval-Islamic periods |
