It lies in Aratdagi Village; northeast of Birecik District of Sanliurfa Province. The mound taking place on a rocky hill has been damaged due to contemporary settlement. It was discovered by Birecik-Suruç Archaeology Team of TÜBA in 2001. Potsherds with painted decoration and coarse ware and Syrian ware fragments dated to EBA. Also finds are hand made burnished potsherds and late period materials. Survey code is N40A013. |
