|
| Chipped stone fragments are found on slopes and top of a hill overlooking Tigris RÝver; immediate northeast of Sincanli Quarter; southeast of Oymatas Village of Batman Province. The survey that is conducted by H. Taskiran in 2003; yielded 11 fragments which two of them are bifacial tools. This two dragged fragments rather look like chopping tools and t other ones consist of cores and flakes. A pointed Levallois core is typical. The finds are dated to Middle Palaeolithic [Taskiran et al. 2005:336]. Survey code is S61/47. |
