It iles 1 km north of Yollarbasi Village; northwest of Karaman Province. It is a broad and shallow mound 200 m in diameter and 3 m in height. It was discovered by H. Bahar and yielded Chalcolithic; EBA and Roman Period material. It was researched within the scope of the "Konya-Karaman Provinces and District Survey" performed by H. Bahar et al. in 2005; and defined as "Düdügün Yügcegizi". The settlement lies 5.1 km east of Kazim Karabekir; 181 km east of Kazim Karabekir-Karaman highway; and 750 m north of Yollarbasi Town. In addition to Chalcolithic there are EBA; and Roman period materials [Bahar 2007: 485]. |
