It lies on a rocky hill at the entrance of Konak (karasih) Village; south of Çankiri Province. The tomb of Seyh Karamustafa locates on top of the mound. It was investigated by T. Sipahi and T. Yildirim during 2003 survey and potsherds of EBA on western slope; 2nd millennium BC on southern slope were found. Also limited number of Classical Period materials were found. |
