It is located on the Yardimci-Sanliurfa motorway; 600 m northeast of the village of Turluk; 17.5 km northwest of Turluk. It is a circular mound measuring 150 m in diameter and 5 m in height. It was documented by N. Yardimci during the survey of Harran Plain. The Chalcolithic Age finds consist of Halafian and Obeid painted pottery; well-fired and highly burnished black-faced wares; and straw-tempered wares of red biscuit. Medieval-Islamic Period materials were also collected from the surface. |
