It is located about 2 km south of the Sanliurfa-Mardin motorway; 31 km north of Harran; southeast of the province of Sanliurfa. It measures 10-12 m above the plain level and has been built over by the modern village settlement. It was documented by N. Yardimci during the survey of Harran Plain. The EBA finds consist of fine metallic wares and well-fired burnished wares pinkish buff in biscuit. 1st millennium BC; Roman and Medieval-Islamic Period materials were also collected from the surface. |
