It is located about 2 km south of the Harran-Hizan (Meydankapi) road; 15 km southeast of Harran; southeast of the province of Sanliurfa. It is also known as Semsettin. It was documented by N. Yardimci during the survey of Harran Plain. The EBA finds consist of fine metallic wares and plain coarse wares sandy in texture. 1st millennium BC and Medieval-Islamic Period materials were also collected from the surface. |
