Palaeolithic chipped stone tools collected at the flat area extending south from the contemporary cemetery at the entrance of Çayüstü Village south of Batman Province. 14 flint core and 15 flake-blades were found during the survey conducted by H. Taskiran in 2004. General characterictics of the finds showed that they were belonging to the end of Lower Palaeolithic; beginning of Middle Palaeolithic. Code T61/1 [Taskiran 2006:206]. |
