It is located in the north of Ercek Lake in Central Van Province. It was researched within the scope of " Van; Agri; and Igdir Provinces Survey". It is a castle type settlement on a rocky hill showing traces of long period settlement as in Çaldiran Castle; Çavusbasi; and Evditepe in Baklatepe Çaldiran Plain at the east of Erçek Lake. Although there are very few samples of pottery those centers do not show different characterisitics in terms of culture; and function. The pottery gathered in this area are Amuq E-F Ôchaff faced ware'Ôtype which show the relationship of the area with the south. The fragments that were found belong to direct rimmed deep bowls. These were mildly or rarely cooked brown paste burnished; gritty and plant-tempered ware. The plant-temper is widely seen on those fragments of hand-made ware [Özfirat 2007:143-144].
