It lies 2 km south of the Harran-Hizan (Meydankapi) motorway, 15 km southeast of Harran, and it is also known as Semsettin Höyük. No measurement was obtained as it has been entirely obscured by the modern settlement. The following periods were identified: - Early Bronze Age (metalic fine ware, coarse sandy plain ware) - 1st Millennium BC (pink paste, coarse plain ware) - Medieval-Islamic Period (red paste, grit-tempered, coarse ware with irregular surfaces) [Yardimci 2004:656-657]. |
