It is located in the Asarova (Hisarova) Mevkii which is 4 km northwest of Tefenni district; in Burdur province. It was researched within the scope of "Burdur province survey" performed by M. Özsait et al. in 2005. It was assumed that the settlement was inhabited during IA; Hellenistic; and Roman periods as the sherds on the surface and environs suggested. It was excavated; and the eroded areas revealed ceramics that date to Chalcolithic Age; and flintstone carvers; blades; and ceramics that date to EBA settlements [Özsait 2007.465]. |
